HYPER-SUB HYBRID SUBMARINE

The Hyper-Sub Multipurpose Sub-Sea Vehicle is the world’s first successfully tested marine vessel that operates as both a long-range speedboat and a submarine. It can be launched quickly and very easily from almost any dock or beach, in water only three feet deep, without the support, and operates safely on the open sea. It can travel long distances, up to 500 miles, at high surface speeds. It can dive to depths of 500 feet (or to 1,000 feet, depending on the cabin selection) while being capable of cruising, totally submerged, in waters only 15 feet deep. It can dive numerous times (due to onboard recharging capabilities) which makes it capable of traveling submerged for hundreds of miles during a single deployment. It keeps its crew dry which provides for prolonged dive and deployment times. This significantly improves mission usefulness, mission times, and mission flexibility. It can carry, or be outfitted with, over 6,000lbs of cargo/equipment to satisfy the needs of many different end-users. Being a Multipurpose Sub-Sea Vehicle (MSV), Hyper-Sub can be used for a wide range of activities. Some of the major activities are– personal leisure, tourism, oil & gas pipeline, and rig inspections, underwater research or salvage, security surface patrol, interdiction operations, search and rescue, search and recovery, monitoring & maintenance operations, ISR operations, SOF delivery operations, anti-piracy or anti-mine operations, and more government & military applications.
