With the P1, McLaren produced their first hybrid car for the road. The model was limited to 375 units and was sold out before the production run began.
Belonging to the McLaren Ultimate Series, the P1 already delivered 916 HP and a top speed of 350 km/h. But McLaren wasn’t done yet and unveiled the P1 GTR, the track-focused version.
The power output of the GTR sits at a staggering 1000 HP and it also delivers 350 km/h. The fixed rear wing produces massive downforce, and the already lowered (by 5 centimeters) GTR is pressed to the tarmac.
Together with a weight reduction of 50 kg, the P1 GTR reaches 100 km/h in under 2.8 seconds. With only 58 vehicles produced, this racing car is a sound investment and highly collectible.
